Rainy Days

It's been a grey, rainy weekend. WonderBoy and I went to Target yesterday and met my mom there. It's about halfway between where we are and where my mom is. Mom was in the hospital a couple weeks ago. We thought it might have been another mini-stroke. She had one a few years ago. They think it was just a bad reaction to an infection, but it was a scare. Anyhow, I didn't see her last week because of oh, being operated on and all. So, I wanted to see her.

Anyhoo -- the Boy is now making ghosts out of dish towels and rags for Halloween. FranMan has drilled holes in a board to hang from a hook on the porch. And then more holes in the board to hang the ghosts from. They seem content at the moment with they're project. Supper is on -- the Man made tomato/meat sauce and we have whole wheat egg noodles to put it over. It smells wonderful and I'm hungry.

Tonight Cold Case is on, and Crossing Jordon. My gas and bloating aren't quite as bad as they were. I've decided to not stress about whether surgery has worked or not. It seems to me like it hasn't, but, it may be too early to tell. I'm not the most patient of people.

FranMan just expressed his displeasure about the state of the pantry. It seems that it's 'out of control.' Translated, this means some items have wandered from their designated positions according to FranMan's Pantry Organizational Chart which he keeps in his head. You'd think a man who drops his dirty clothes on the floor at night would not be so picky about the pantry. :: g ::
