Injectable Fran
Oct. 4th, 2005 12:52 pmAnd lo, it came to pass that the High Physician decreed that fran should inject herself with a viral antigen. FOUR TIMES A DAY!
My thighs are like pincushions. It's a good thing that I've stopped wearing shorts. People would think I'm a junkie for sure.
Actually, giving myself a shot 4 times a day, while not pleasant, isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The needle is pretty small, and I only have to inject a small amount.
The deal is that I tested moderately positive for the Epstein Barr virus. This is the virus that causes mononucleosis. I had mono some 20 years ago. Like the chicken pox virus, it never goes away, just goes dormant. The injections are to jump start my system and to get my body to fight the Epstein Barr virus, if indeed, that's what, in part, is causing me so many problems. I have to do this for at least one month. I'm on the second week.

xilerui), is sweet in many ways, but refuses to learn to give me a shot so I can get them in my butt. I can reach around to the side a bit, but can't get all the way in the back. He's a squeamish FranMan at times. I'm thinking about asking the boy to do it.
In other news, I love Prison Break. It has many pretty boys. No, I don't need a better reason.
