Spring, Gut-Wrenching Music, and a Joke

Yay for daylight savings time! Franboy wants to know why, if everyone likes it so much, we don't just have it all year long. I've wondered too. Anyone know? Surely there is a reason.

What sounds like a cat going through a blender? Why, my son's middle school Spring concert, of course! Ok, maybe it wasn't *that* bad, and I know, strings are hard. They really are. The band always sounds a bit better.
